Offered on all of our Kennebec and Dead River White Water Rafting Adventures, our American made fleet of self bailing Maravia rafts are built to our exacting specifications.  Our two-person inflatable kayaks are chosen for their stability and performance. Wetsuits, life jackets, and souvenir clothing is custom sized to ensure proper fit for each of our guests.

As the founder of white water rafting in the northeast, Wayne Hockmeyer brings more than 25 years of experience to our youth group programs and facilities. The major rapids on both the Kennebec and Dead Rivers were named by Wayne and his early guides, and they are a part of the history of the industry in Maine. With more than 20 years of teaching and coaching in Maine public schools, Rick Hoddinott also brings his 20+ years of guiding and outfitting experience to Adventure Bound.
