Kennebec River
The Kennebec river whitewater rafting trip is a 12 mile trip. The first 6 miles are continuous exciting Class III – IV rapids. After that, enjoy a nice boat float, swim in the river, or take a turn on an inflatable kayak. We stop for a riverside barbecue of grilled chicken and fresh summertime salads.
On the lower river engage in water fights with your friends, test your river skill in a inflatable kayak, or simply slip outside the raft and let your life jacket float you through this scenic waterway.
This day starts around 8 AM with orientation and gearing up, then we bus up to the dam and hit the water around 10 AM, we enjoy about 4 hours on the river and expect to be back at base around 2 PM for folks to change and view a slideshow of the trip photos.
Controlled dam releases guarantee a full summer of whitewater action, 7 days a week!
