Through the Trees: Hosting Teen Wilderness Trips at Adventure Bound
We’re proud to host Through the Trees, a Maine-based non-profit dedicated to connecting teens with the outdoors. Their Teen Wilderness Trips bring groups to Adventure Bound for exciting whitewater rafting adventures on the Kennebec River.
As Registered Maine Guides, the Through the Trees team leads their own outdoor programming, but they come to Adventure Bound to provide a guided whitewater rafting experience on the class IV Kennebec river. Their visits are a perfect example of how homeschool and outdoor organizations can use our facilities and guided activities to enhance their programs.
By hosting groups like Through the Trees, we aim to support outdoor educators in creating meaningful experiences for their students, adding rafting to their itinerary while they explore the beauty of Maine’s wilderness.
